I am having insomnia again and I don't know why! ARGH.
I woke up early enough today to be tired by now but I just can't sleep. This is annoying!

And yes, so, here I am, again.

4th of January was the day when my life suddenly and unexpectedly turned for the better. I would say, it's the most pleasant surprise ever. Some things, perhaps, will never ever change. And for now, I can safely say that I am really glad that it is so. I hope I am right, and that till the day I die, I will still be smiling =))

Anyways, I started working on the first week of January. Just half-day. Babysitting 5-year-old kids at one of my parents' childcare centres, and once in a while, helping out with administrative work and accounts at the office.
I don't like the job. Hahaha.
I prefer babysitting 2-year-old kids like last time, with Andrea. It was so much fun, right Andrea? We should work together again some day!
Well, I guess working there does affect me positively in many ways. I learnt quite a lot. Like the fact that I cannot have a routine and mundane job in the future because I cannot take it, hahaha. Of course, effective ways to discipline my kids in the future, and skills/knowledge I need when I take over the business next time. I guess observing what's really going on in childcare centres does help.

And... I actually have work in a few hours' time, I have no idea what I am doing here so yeah, byeeeeeeee!

I can't sleep so here I am!

Looking back at what happened recently, I suddenly feel very appreciative of my parents. I am really grateful to have them. I am indeed blessed. They have no qualms when it comes to communication with honesty, which are essential elements in life. They have guided me on the right and decent path all this while, and I believe they will continue to do so. As much as I have been angry about their guidance at times, I came to realise how silly and ignorant I have been, how important they are, how significant their advice were. I am who I am, and what I am today, because of my wonderful parents.
Thank you Papa, Mama. I love you both forever and ever. So so much.
And I have decided, that from this second onwards, I will try my very best at all times to show them how much I appreciate them, how grateful I am, how great they are, and how much I love them. Since I haven't been doing so for the past 19 years of my life.
It starts now.

Well well, I remember 3rd of January was a very very long day for me. Long day of fun, though. It was really enjoying every minute of my holidays to the maximum. Hahaha.
First there was singing with Shauna, Jeremy, Bong, Patricia and Fina. Despite having so many karaoke sessions together already, it was still so much fun. Sometimes I wonder why. Hahaha. Shauna says it's a time of release for her. Patricia sings like some Hollywood star, really.
Then I went to meet my lovely Rena! So glad to be able to see her after such a looooong time! Had a nice dinner with her at Balcony, caught up with each other quite a lot, which was great, and realising the good change in her. Heee. Oh and how can I forget! When she dropped the bomb on me telling me that Anting and Chinghui are together, I was so shocked! That was the most shocking news I ever heard, I would say. My mouth and eyes were left open for about 30 seconds really! I was speechless. Hahaha. I couldn't believe it, just like the others. But! It was a pleasant surprise! I am really happy for the both of you, whom I look up to as my older siblings that take care of me like your little sister ever since last time. You two are compatible in many ways. Best wishes! I wish you both happiness! =))
And after having fun with Rena and her friends, I actually went singing again! Hahaha. This time, I enjoyed myself because I just sat there most of the time and listened to the soon-to-be-Taiwan-female-singer do her thing. Her voice is amazing. Then we had breakfast and I learnt much about faith, letting things be, and such, which I will remember for life. I came to realise almost instantly that it's all true, not bullshit. And I am so glad I did.

Okay time to update!

I should just finish updating about 2008 once and for all so I can move on with 2009! Hahaha.

So....
There was Christmas. A party at my place. Quite an eventful night, I would say. Most of us played poker with others just chilling. I just realised that the photos are all not with me anymore, so I shall just post one lovely photo of Pepper with the Christmas tree. Heeee.



And then there was New Year. A countdown party at my place. It was much more fun as compared to the Christmas party. Guess I realised what works and what doesn't. Hahaha. We all learn from mistakes.
Had much crazy fun playing brainless games with great music. Played Pictionary too, and Andrea, we rock! Hahaha. Oh and I still cannot believe you didn't recognise Yulin! Hahaha another classic joke!
Then there was mahjong, as usual, and I have never ever played so much mahjong continuously! But it was good fun!

So yeah there you go, guess I'm done with 2008!
